Growing: I Smh a Lot When I “Reflect”

I used to speak “implied”, now I speak “explicit”…

Sometimes, no scratch that, really often πŸ™Š I ask whoever’s secretly listening, What spaceship invaded earth and left this one behind? πŸ˜•

The purpose of reflection (in case no one told you πŸ˜•) is generally for you to recall certain occurrences and circumstances, to pick out important things (often lessons) that you might have missed out. Mine is to measure my wisdom and sensibility.

Meanwhile, I really cannot stress how valuable it is to journal your experiences, emotions, thoughts, whatever. Apart from it being therapeutic, it helps you remember where you’re coming from and to identify where you’re going or need to be… or if you’re gotten there. You’re welcome. πŸ™‚

Now, for someone who doesn’t like talking about settling down, I think of it an awful lot πŸ™Š. So… what’s today’s thought? Oh, it’s not even today’s thought. I was just going through my journal and I saw a few stupid things πŸ‘€. One of them was something along the lines of “God, if he’s the one, let the feelings I have for him wax stronger (who’d believe I would say something like that?! 🀷🏾); if he’s not the one, let the feelings fizzle out completely before the end of the week.” πŸ‘€ Hey! I can’t be the only one who does these things and has these kinds of thoughts! πŸ˜ΌπŸ™„

Right now, I know that if I have to think for a second if a guy is into me or not (my liking him is irrelevant if I don’t think it’s mutual), I’m wasting my brain cells. Uh huh. I can’t be stressing my beautiful head doing silly prayers, taking Zimbio quizzes to check if he’s into me, and asking God tricky questions over a guy. Nah to the ah πŸ™…πŸΎ. We past that now 😎. As a Law graduate — maybe I should make reference to Kent Law School’s critical-thinking brain programming –, I know that you’re best secure when you deal only in explicit language and terms. No implied messages or what not. No assumptions. If he can’t say it in plain old unequivocal English, I will not assume anything or “get the message”. I. Don’t. Speak. Mute. Or. Implied.

Oh, I should probably put this out there, as well: women do not read minds!! Contrary to popular belief, we possess the same mind-reading abilities as men do — none! Zero! If you have feelings for a girl, out with it! Oh, and to the women — in case you missed it a few sentences back — men cannot read your minds! If something is wrong, oh and bless you if he’s attentive and sensitive enough to notice, share!! That is why communication exists. Not only when it suits your needs.

That’s enough now. See y’all on Monday! ✌🏾

There's an eternity worth of things to say, but to keep it short, I'm a very deep individual, an avid reader and student of humans and the things around us that we interact with. If you ask me, everything has the capacity to be the topic of a deep discussion, including toilet paper. In a discussion, I'd be that person that gets everyone (including the one who's making the most noise) to go "oooooooohh!!" My thoughts spark elements in people's brains. I love imparting knowledge and I kind of have an issue with conveniently unenlightened people, who like to voice their every opinion. I love the spiritual stuff!! God is too awesome for words. There's always something to blow my mind each time I plug in. God is so deep, it's ceaselessly fascinating for me. You should totally visit the spiritual part of my mind. It's indescribable. Insane adrenaline flowing in there!
